TRIBUTE TO MADAN MOHAN

Madan mohan was and still remains the most prolific and exemplary music directors of our film industry.

An extremely handsome man, he died at a young age consumed by his own bitterness on the situation around him.Its an irony that although he did extraordinary work but he never got any big awards or composed for great actors of his times.
His songs have a unique tone in them and leave a lasting impact.His music arrangement and choice of instruments is meticulous and flawless.It gives an impression that although he was a sensitive artist he had a very professional and a disciplined approach towards composing and recording his songs.Each detail minutely worked out and he always had a couple of options before he finalised his composition for a particular song.
People in love with music will find the latest album "making of veer-zara" ( part of album TERE BAGAIR)very interesting and insightful.

His album "Tere bagair" launched last year has few of his songs which could never be used in any film.The opening song of the album TERE BAGAIR is a master piece and reason enough to buy this album.sung by Mohammad rafi, it is a rare work of art.

Madan mohan,a legend with whom i personaly relate the most, is and will continue to remain my favourite artist.It our misfortune that we have to live with only those melodies he left behind and miss all those which he could have created had he been alive.

क्या है प्यार,क्या कभी सुनी है इसकी परिभाषा?
क्या लेना और देना ही प्यार है?

कल देखा था एक वृद्ध दंपत्ति को किराने  की दुकान से राशन खरीदते, और जगी
थी प्यार की परिभाषा बनने की उम्मीद
दो नो के बीच की गहरी ख़ामोशी पर ताल मेल ऐसा जैसे दोनों एक ही हों
शायद उम्र के साथ प्यार की भी कई सरहदें पर कर चुके थे वो
शायद उनकी परिभाषा ही सही हो
